What’s Included?

Booze cruise:
Enjoy a Luxurious electric boat ride for 90 minutes including unlimited drinks (beer/wine/soda), comfortable heated pillows and great service. Our professional skipper will be sailing one of our luxury boats and our host will be entertaining you through the canals!

Beer bike:
The “Pedal bar” includes wind/rain protection so even with the unpredictable weather of Amsterdam, fun is always an absolute certainty! We provide a designated driver, allowing you to pedal your way through some of the hidden gems of Amsterdam whilst enjoying plenty of beer or bubbly (20 litters) with up to 17 friends. This activity takes approximately 70 minutes.

We booked a GetBaked experience on We are... Amsterdam, which they advertised on their site. On the day of our class, the provider of the class wrote to us, that he no longer works with WAA and that we cannot come to the class. I've emailed WAA many times since then and got poor replies and we never got a refund. Therefore I personally would not trust this site to book your experience.read more

We booked the “Who is Amsterdam” walking tour... via Airbnb. We met our guide (Sinead) at the meet up point. We were immediately blessed with a meeting with the flower bike man (Warren). He shared his lovely story about how his love (for his wife) led to the many flower bikes around Amsterdam. We also walked around the city and Sinead gave us interesting insights into the culture around. We learnt about the ‘coffee shops’, where Bill Clinton found his favorite apple pie in Amsterdam, etc. Our second local was Sunny. She shared her stories about the sex worker culture and how Amsterdam aims to protect against human exploitation. I highly recommend this tour. Do sign up if you are in town.read more

Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves... trying new local foods mingled with history. This tour is located within a fabulous market where you can browse during your tour and shop later. Our guide had pre-arranged our food orders before we began so as we walked up to a food vendor they were ready for us and we skipped the line. It was a fun way to spend a couple hours getting lost in the love and culture of Amsterdam! The pace was slow and easy allowing us to accommodate for a member of our group who recently had knee surgery which was also nice.read more

Our guide Rajaa was just beautiful. She ensured... we had the most amazing experience. There was lots of food!! I was initially dubious as to what a market food tour could possible offer especially around “the foods of Amsterdam” but this tour did not disappoint! We had a vast variety of foods and beers and it was a really awesome experience. Only suggestion is maybe making the tour slightly longer as it’s a lot of food and drinks to get through in such a short amount of time however highly recommend! Thank you Rajaa!read more

Leidseplein Pub Crawl - Excellent time! Big... shoutout to Ionut and Stefan. They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone is having a great time. The choices of bars and clubs were also excellent - great music and vibe. 100% much better than the Red Light Pub Crawl that we did the next day (1Jul) - empty, dead bars and team members didn’t really care for the group. We booked the Food tour at de Pijp — quite last... minute, so we were lucky enough there was some space for us left. One star for that! The group size was not too big, which made it easier to hear the guide. Sometimes things got loud at the market, which definitely is busier in the afternoon. At some points it was not possible to hear the guide, which was a shame of course. One thing I mentioned to our guide, and that I really missed on the tour: just a sip of water. Especially starting with the sweetest thing, the sugar rush.. the reason why I did not give all 5 starts, partially. Having worked in tourism in France for years this is something that is so easy to be fixed. I would rate the tour as “good”, questions that were asked by people in the group often had to be verified, whereas they were things you would expect your guide to know. I really hope the guide will incorporate that feedback for future tours ( e.g. which beer is which? Which cheese is which?) in order to prevent people from being disappointed at the end of their tour. Just to add that extra touch. Food wise: quality was exactly what I would expect, great mix of sweet and savory. I would say I had the right amount of food, not too much, not too little. Thank you, Maya.read more

After the cruise we did I just felt I have to... tell everyone about how good it was! We booked a company outing cruise for 25 people with food and drinks. Prior to the activity we received clear confirmation, notes where the cruise will start and even a call from the offices as a reminder. On arrival we were greeted by the skipper and host which were very kind, the boat was prepared so nicely. Drinks were cold in ice, we had beautiful food platters and champagne. We cruise for 1.5 hours and it was just amazing. The host and skipper were very entertaining, full of knowledge about the town and made sure everything was spot on!read more

Embarrassed that I booked the booze cruise for a... corporate outing. The boat was 30 minutes late, the previous party had spilled drinks all over the cushions and the staff did not replace the pillows, there were dozens of cases of canned sodas stacked in the boat with us, and the alcohol was on the floor, not even set up on the table. Instead of taking us on a normal route, we were taken on a route to drop off the cases of sodas to another boat. On top of that, the cruise was supposed to be for 1.5 hours, but the driver only took us for 50 minutes.read more

We waited about half an hour with no boat; I called the company and they told us they’d not received our reservation. I contacted this company for a refund and I was told it would take 5 days to fix. So I’m £323 out, and it spoiled our whole afternoon out on our holiday. No sign of a refund yet!!read more

Tom (our guide) was warm and kind, taking us... through some of the Dutch gastronomy sites of Albert Cuyp Markt, providing context for the places we went to and the food we tried. His patience was also admirable, since we were joined by a group of 6 obnoxious ladies, not wanting to try any food or listen to any of the explanations. Tom kept it professional and tried to be diplomatic. About the tour: we tried Haring, Kiebling, Lumpia, Dutch fries, bitterballen, an assortment of beers, stroopwafel, chicken satay and Poffertjes. I would take the Lumpia out, the rest is very good. Mind you it’s a lot of food!read more

I would highly recommend the booze cruise via... this company! A large group was in town for a bachelorette party and we were able to kick off our evening on the boat. It was easy to plan this outing without being located in the Netherlands or speaking Dutch. Our guides/captains, Stephen and Mark, were excellent! They were communicative prior to our arrival and informative/helpful throughout the evening. They had a large variety of drinks (alcohol and non-alcoholic) available.
